Im also more importantly to you, a graphic designer with a background in hospitality and tourism, where I specialized in guest relations and curating experiences with a deep understanding of human connection. It’s because of my experience and past that I design with a storytelling focus in all of my work and the projects I create.

My Background

I’m an Icelandic born, Ottawa based graphic designer. I take a lot of inspiration for my culture, our way of telling stories and naturally the breath-taking surroundings in Iceland.

My Education & Experience

I’m a final year Graphic Design Student at Algonquin College in Ottawa and currently working at the Government of Canada. But in a past life I was a hotelier, bartender, a brief moment a geologist... The hospitality industry is where you’ll find my heart and passions.

My Interests

I’ve always had my head in the clouds and I ground myself by reading and writing in my free time. I also am a woman of leisure and it’s incredibly important to me to have a work-life balance. Graphic Design is my craft but my passion is to create stories and I find myself amalgamating the two any chance I get.
